Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is coming with a bash on the big screen. She has last appeared in her film Half Girlfriend which is based on the same titled book of author Chetan Bhagat. The actress appeared opposite Arjun Kapoor. Now, she is ready with her next film which is based on the life of Haseena Parkar. The Apoorva Lakhia directorial Haseena Parkar biopic trailer has been launched. The director of Shraddha Kapoor upcoming film Haseena Parkar biopic stated on the trailer launch that Sonakshi Sinha was the initial choice for portraying the character of Haseena. Haseena Parkar – Dawood Ibrahim sister is a well know personality in the field of crime.
The director of the movie told the media during the trailer launch that Shraddha Kapoor was totally his second choice. He first approached actress Sonakshi Sinha to play the central character of the film. He also elaborated his statement by saying the Sonakshi was busy doing the shoot for her film Force 2 and this led to the shoot of the movie kept of getting postponed. The director told the media that he knew Shraddha could easily play the role of a 17 year old and a 45 year old too.
Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor also made his presence at the trailer launch. He is portraying the role of Haseena Parkar brother Dawood Ibrahim.
This is the first time that Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female protagonist in a totally deglamorized avatar. Shraddha’s real life and reel life brother said that he was cast with Sonakshi Sinha, but because she could not do the film so his sister came on board. He felt that this was the best thing that happened in his life and career. He also added to his statement that Shraddha is working so hard to pull up the character of Haseena Parkar.
Shraddha Kapoor said that doing films introduce her to different characters and she believes that it is a real privilege.
